Heinz Sernetz, 59 years, Austrian citizen, has been working for the Austrian Raiffeisen Group for 21 years.

He started M&A and Financial Advisory activities at Raiffeisen establishing Raiffeisen Investment AG with the focus on Investment Banking Services in CEE, SEE and CIS. Today Raiffeisen Investment AG maintains 12 subsidiaries in the region focusing on M&A, Privatisations, Private Equity and Merchant Banking.

After finishing the University with a Master of Business Administration Heinz Sernetz started his career at Chase Manhattan Bank where he spent eight years in Vienna and London in the corporate and trade finance unit of the bank.

After another two years with Erste Bank, where Heinz Sernetz build up a division for corporate multinational customers in Austria, he joined Raiffeisen.

Heinz Sernetz is married and has three children.
