IDM is partner of RECET Historical and Social Sciences Festival 2026: “Transformations of Labor”

The IDM is pleased to be a partner of the RECET Festival of Historical and Social Sciences 2026. Under the theme “Transformations of Labor,” the festival explores the many forms, meanings, and changing realities of work across past and present societies. It addresses questions of how work is organized, experienced, and valued, ranging from paid employment to often overlooked or unpaid forms of labor.

Over the course of three days, leading voices from academia, the arts, civil society, and activism will come together in lectures, panel discussions, and debates to examine both historical developments and contemporary challenges related to work. A diverse cultural program will complement these discussions, offering new perspectives on the topic and creating opportunities for dialogue and exchange.

The IDM is delighted to contribute to this interdisciplinary forum and to support conversations on one of the most important social and economic issues of our time.
