CALL FOR ARTICLES – DER DONAURAUM

“Der Donauraum” is the long-standing academic journal of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM), bringing together interdisciplinary research findings on all topics related to the Danube Region: geography, history, culture, literature, politics, law, and economy. 

Researchers focusing on one of these topics and wishing to publish an article are invited to submit articles of a minimum of 20,000 and a maximum of 40,000 characters (including spaces) in English or German by 1 May 2025. After a peer review, the articles will be published in the issue No. 4/2025 (November / December 2025) 

The journal is published by Böhlau Verlag with four issues annually (as double or single editions).
