IDM is a Certified Research Institution!

We are pleased to announce that the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) has officially been recognized as a Certified Research Institution (Zertifizierte Forschungseinrichtung) by the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior (Bundesministerium für Inneres (BMI)).

The list of certified research institutions is publicly available on the website of the Federal Ministry of the Interior.

This certification facilitates a simplified entry process for researchers planning to stay in Austria for up to six months and enables the possibility of applying for a “Residence Permit – Researcher” (Niederlassungsbewilligung – Forscher) for longer stays.
