Péter Techet at the Conference of the Hungarian Think Tank “Republicon” on the European Union

On January 30, 2025, Péter Techet participated in a discussion on the challenges in European politics, organized by the Hungarian liberal think tank “Republicon.”  

Techet spoke about Austrian politics and its consequences for European integration, as well as the reasons behind populism.  

Other participants in the discussion included Zoltán Bretter, former director of the Hungarian Institute in Bucharest; Gergely Prőhle, former State Secretary in the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Program Director of the John Lukács Institute; and Anita Szűcs, university professor at Corvinus University Budapest.
