Malwina Talik at the Rīga Conference in Latvia

The Rīga Conference is an annual meeting of regional and international experts in foreign policy and defense, academics, journalists, and business representatives, promoting the discussion and assessment of issues affecting the transatlantic community, with a particular focus on the perspective of the Baltic States.  

Our colleague Malwina Talik attended the conference once again on 9–11 October 2025 where she also moderated a side session “Science, Innovation and the EU’s Role in Shaping the Future.” The panel featured Prof. Jānis Priede, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Latvia; Dr. Ivars Ījabs, Member of the European Parliament (Committee on Industry, Research and Energy); and Flemming Splidsboel Hansen, Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies.
