General tasks

Programme management for the establishment of democracy workshops, funded by the ERSTE Foundation, in cooperation with the Austrian Parliament

Participation in IDM publications, e.g. policy papers

Organisational development in civil society, foundations, democratic competence, private-public cooperation/partnerships, programme development in formal and non-formal education, philanthropy in Central Europe

Professional experience

2004 – 2007: Politics and civil society organisations (election campaign organisation, employee of a member of the Bundestag, office manager of the European Stability Initiative e.V. in London, Berlin and Istanbul);

2007 – 2019: Project funding and development in formal education in Central and Southeastern Europe, ERSTE Foundation, Vienna; since 2020 also as a consultant in this area

2021: Interim Manager of the Sinnbildungsstiftung (in TZ), a hybrid private-public form of foundation that supports innovative projects in Austria. Education sector distinguishes and scales;

2020 – 2023: Programme Management “Democracy Workshop” at the IDM in TZ

Education

University of Leipzig: Magister Artium, Medieval and Modern History, English Studies, German as a Foreign Language (basic studies at Bielefeld University, Erasmus year at Uppsala University)

Heidelberg University, Center for Social Investment and Innovation: Master in Nonprofit Management & Governance; Thesis: “Influences on the establishment of bank-related foundations in Germany and Austria”
