Sebastian Schäffer was invited to the panel discussion “The future of European integration in the Danube Region – 20 years after the first Eastern enlargement of the EU” that took place during the 2024 Spring Seminar of the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw). At the OeNB Kassensaal of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank the IDM-Director discussed with distinguished guest Michael Landesmann (Senior Research Associate, Economist, former Scientific Director, wiiw), Alida Vračić (Executive Director, Think Tank Populari, Sarajevo) as well as Clotilde Warin (Advisor at the Center of Analysis, Planning and Strategy, French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs), moderated by Katalin Tünde Huber (Head of Unit for EU Enlargement, Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, Vienna).
