IDM Melange with the Ukrainian Climate Office

On 23 September 2025, the IDM hosted an exchange with Andriy Demydenko, Julia Jesson and Shamil Khakimzyanov from the Ukrainian Climate Office (UCO). The Ukrainian Climate Office works to promote a green recovery and sustainable development in Ukraine as well as supporting the country’s future EU accession by offering trainings, shaping policies and engaging with a broad audience.

Both the IDM and the Ukrainian Climate Office are dedicated to bridging the gap between scientific expertise, civil society and policymakers. During our discussion, we found out more about other’s work and explored opportunities for future collaboration.
