IDMonSite – Daniel Martínek

European cities, towns and villages resemble empty deserts. Home #quarantine has become commonplace for almost everyone. As measures extend, we all know that #digital communication will be our only connection to the outside world for the next weeks. We therefore want you to be connected at least #digitally with people in the #DanubeRegion and #CentralEurope and to stay informed about current developments in our target countries. How do governments and #civilsocieties in #CEE and #SEE deal with the outbreak of #Covid19? Follow us via our YouTube channel! #IDMonSite

During our second #livestream we will meet Daniel Martínek, Research Assistant at the IDM and PhD student at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, #Czechia. His research interests include European international relations with focus on CEE countries, cross-border cooperation formats, and democratic transformation and socio-political developments in Central Europe.

Today you will hear among others about the Czech way to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, what measures have been taken, and what impact will the #coronavirus have on Czech society and economy. Join our IDMonSite session via our YouTube channel #IDMVienna today at 15:00 CET!
