Malwina Talik at the CEE Her Workshop in Brussels
Our colleague Malwina Talik participated in the CEE Her Workshop in Brussels (10.-12. April 2024) alongside female experts from Belarus, Poland, Ukraine, Slovenia, and Slovakia. The focus was on the intersection of international affairs, security, tech, and AI.
Within this framework Malwina presented “Women in the Digital Space (AI). Looking into Central Europe. Cases from Austria, Czechia, Poland and Slovakia” a GLOBSEC report which she had been a lead author. The presentation took place at the Microsoft headquarters in Brussels and was followed by discussion with representatives of European Commission, European Parliament, and European Women’s Lobby on impact of technology and AI on women.
The three-day workshop provided an opportunity to meet and engage in discussions with Irene Fellin (NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security), Irena Moozova (Deputy DG Just), Marketa Gregorova (Member of European Parliament), Marty Wytrykowska (European External Action Service) and security experts from WIIS. It was also included two coaching sessions.
The workshop was organized as part of the CEE Her initiative by GLOBSEC.
