IDMonSite – Vera Strobachova-Budway

How is the corona crisis affecting gender (in)equality in Europe? How to counteract an emancipatory backlash? How do organizations and companies create an inclusive work environment and which programs of diversity management are successful?

In our upcoming session of IDMonSite, Daniela Neubacher (IDM) will speak with Vera Strobachova-Budway, Senior Co-ordination Adviser for Gender Issues at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

Prior to joining the OSCE, Vera spent 12 years as Chief Diversity Officer in Erste Group Bank AG in where she established and developed the company’s first comprehensive Diversity & Inclusion Program. She is US national and received her master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Georgetown University (Washington, DC). Among others, Vera is a founding member of the Austrian Chapter of the International Women´s Forum (IWF).
