After the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Europe had to face a full-scale energy crisis. However, how can “generation crisis” differentiate between real security threats and the ones which are just proclaimed as such? These and more relevant issues were discussed during the panel “Youth Engagement in the Energy Transition to a Youth-driven Green Economy for a Sustainable Future for All” at the Prespa Forum Dialogue 2023, in which research associate Melanie Jaindl participated as a speaker. The renowned conference was organized by the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Struga on 15-16 June. Besides energy transition, it focused on the European future of the Western Balkans and good neighbourly relations, five year safter North Macedonia and Greece signed the historic Prespa Agreement.
