Energy Conference Energy Market of Poland and Energy Transition

The development and integration of Poland’s energy market is an essential part of EU’s Energy Acquis philosophy. EU’s drive for stronger coherency and convergence of the regulatory regimes and the energy markets of its Member Countries represents the main pillar for the further advancement of a liquid energy market in Poland. Moreover, Poland’s key geographical and sociopolitical position in the EU makes it an essential and indispensable element in the Union’s energy market strategy. In this context, the Wiener Euro-Asiatisches Forum (WEAF), together with the Institute for Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) & Diplomatische Akademie Wien – Vienna School of International Studies, aim to bring together renounced experts to elaborate on the various aspects and the interplay of EU’s and Poland’s energy markets.
